This aluminum watercraft is a 38 Defiant Fireboat custom designed specifically for the requirements of the Puerto Rico Fire Department. This project came to us on a white hot schedule but we accommodated our client’s needs and delivered in a hurry. With Solid Design and Detail helping with the modeling, drawings and CNC cut files, the boat was fabricated without a single issue and remained on schedule.

project Scope

SDD supported the 3D design and detailed the main structure and hull plating for this project. This included complete 3D BIM Models, Shop Drawings, Assembly and Erection Drawings, Bill of Materials, Sheetmetal Flat Patterns and .DXF files to CNC all steel plates.
